October 14th, 2022 – exactly one year before their wedding I met with Sofie and Daniel for their engagement session at the wedding venue. We were able to explore the property and the venue while capturing the excitement of the newly engaged couple. Flash forward to October 14th, 2023 and these two had the most magical day to be married!

They are quite possibly some of the happiest people you will ever meet in your life, and after spending a day with Sofie and Daniel (and those closest to them), there is no question as to why they are so joyful and content. As I watched the laughter filled dancing of the reception I couldn’t help but smile as I thought of the Daniel and Sofie’s thank you speech minutes before. Daniel summed it up the best as he and Sofie thanked all the guests for not only attending the ceremony, but also traveling from quite literally all over the country to do so. It is a testament not only to their friends and family, but also so the strong bonds that have been forged over the years. That everyone they knew from all different life stages and different geographical locations would come to celebrate the two who have meant so much to so many. You got the sense through all of the speeches and the dances that everyone in the room has so much love for this newly wed couple. Such an amazing feeling to be able to be a part of and to capture!

Sofie and Daniel, you two are some of the best people I have met and I know the Lord has big plans for you as individuals and as a couple. I cannot be more thankful that you invited me to capture this day, and I am so excited to see where God leads you in the years ahead. Cheers to the Piturros!
