I met Samantha and Dillon on the day of their engagement session! It was the most beautiful morning and afternoon. A bright summer day where the sun filled the cloudless sky and the birds and blooms were out in full force. Cut to 30 minutes before we were supposed to meet at the gates of the Biltmore Estate, and the skies turned dark and you could hear the rolling thunder off in the distance. Not the sounds you want to hear before a magical session at The Biltmore. BUT these two made the most of it and we were able to make it out dry and with an amazing gallery.

As we drove onto the Estate (yeah thats right – we carpooled!) we drove through the windy stone roads and blooming flowers in the gardens and I learned that Samantha and Dillon have known each other basically as long as they can remember. So once they started dating Dillon knew that this was his girl. They were engaged a few months later on the beaches of North Carolina and are set to be married in May with the Appalachian Mountains as their backdrop. I cannot wait for this wedding with these two, they are so in love and are so effortless in front of the camera. See you in may Samantha and Dillon!
